How does TubeTrimmer handle your information?
TubeTrimmer currently provides an anonymous trimming workflow. The browser stores recent clip IDs in local storage so the Clips page can restore the local history. The loaded video details are kept in the current browser session for the editor.
What is sent for processing?
When you load or create a clip, the service receives the public YouTube URL or video identifier and the settings needed to process the request, such as timestamps, format, and resolution. The service needs this information to return the requested result.
Do you need an account?
No account is required for the current workflow. There is no account dashboard or account-level clip history in this version.
How long are generated files kept?
Generated files and job records are temporary implementation data. Retention, hosting logs, analytics, and deletion schedules must be confirmed and updated here before a public production launch.
Who is responsible for source content?
Only submit URLs and create clips when you have the necessary rights. YouTube content remains subject to the applicable YouTube terms and the source creator's rights.
